Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received, in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison Monday (photo), General Nadeem Raza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJSCS) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The two sides reviewed military matters of common interest, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.

The meeting was attended by several senior SAF Officers, Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman and the Military Attaché at the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat.

For his part, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs, received at Al Murtafa’a Garrison Monday the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJSCS) in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The two sides exchanged views on various topics of joint interest.

The meeting was attended by Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Ra’eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman and the Military Attaché of the Pakistani Embassy in Muscat.

On Tuesday, General Nadeem Raza visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC). Upon the guest’s arrival, he was received by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Head of the Maritime Security Committee and Commodore Mohammed Hamoud Al Zadjali, Head of the MSC.

The guest toured the Centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies that are used to achieve its national duties. He was also briefed on the roles and tasks carried out by the Centre in preserving the marine environment in the regional waters.
