Egyptian Commander-in-Chief Witnesses Joint Tactical & Strategic Command Centers Exercise

General Mohamed Zaki, the Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the implementation of the main phase of the Joint Tactical and Strategic Command Centers Exercise for one of the Air Force and Air Defense formations, which were carried out over several days as part of the Armed Forces’ combat training plan for formations and units.

Major General Yasser Kamal Al-Toudy, the Commander of the Air Defense Forces, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the continuous readiness of the Air Defense personnel who tirelessly work day and night to carry out their sacred duties within the integrated system of the Armed Forces to protect Egypt's airspace and secure its skies, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The main phase included a presentation of the tactical idea and the decisions made by the leaders at all levels. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces discussed with participants their management approach to operational situations during the implementation phases, commending the preparation, organization, and coordination between the Air Force and Air Defense Forces in managing joint operations to counter various air threats.

General Mohamed Zaki, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, also met with a number of leaders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Air Defense Forces. He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for the efforts exerted by the Armed Forces personnel to execute all tasks entrusted to them to protect the pillars of Egyptian national security at all levels.

He further emphasized the Armed Forces' keenness on enhancing the training systems and methods for units and formations of the Armed Forces and its main branches according to the latest military systems in all specialties, enabling them to carry out missions efficiently and effectively under various circumstances.

Major General Osama Askar, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, witnessed one of the main phases, which included a presentation of the decisions and measures implemented by both sides. He discussed with several leaders and officers their execution of tasks and the appropriate decision-making during operations management, praising the high level demonstrated by all elements.
