Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Chairs Meeting of Higher Council of Royal College of Command, Staff, and National Defence

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), chaired a meeting of the Higher Council of the Royal College of Command, Staff, and National Defence, in the presence of the BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.

The Commander-in-Chief of the BDF was briefed by Salman Mubarak Al Dosari, the Commandant of the National Defense College, on the academic year and plans, aiming at enhancing the quality of education and training.

The BDF Commander highlighted the support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for the BDF and the programmes of the College, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

In another development, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) made an inspection visit to a BDF unit last week where he was briefed on development plans and training programmes.

The Commander-in-Chief emphasised the advanced level of readiness achieved by the BDF, with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the force has developed modern military capabilities, enabling  it to perform its duties efficiently and effectively under various circumstances.

The Commander-in-Chief lauded the bravery of the BDF servicemen in defending the nation, safeguarding its achievements and territory with utmost professionalism and competence, wishing them continued success in their national duties.
