Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives National Guard Commander, Senior Officers

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), received General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard (photo).

The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination between the BDF and the National Guard, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) also met with a number of Senior Officers of BDF.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of BDF, attended the meeting.

The Commander-in-Chief was briefed on the most important development stages of BDF.

He affirmed that the national force is moving forward in developing its defence systems and strengthening its military capabilities and has reached an advanced level of efficiency, under the leadership of His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed appreciated the efforts of the BDF affiliates in defending their homeland, preserving its historical capabilities and protecting its civilizational gains.
