Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) HE Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit participated in the opening of Farnborough International Airshow, in the United Kingdom.

Farnborough International Airshow includes the latest releases in the aerospace, aviation, and defense industries.

During the opening, the Chief of Staff was accompanied by a number of Qatari Armed Forces Senior Officers, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces met with British Minister for Defence Procurement and Industry Maria Eagle, on the sidelines of the Farnborough International Airshow.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and reviewed bilateral military cooperation relations, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.

The Chief of Staff also met with Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom Admiral Sir Tony Radakin.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common concern. They also discussed the military cooperation between the two sides and ways to enhance them.

The meetings were attended by a number of Qatari Armed Forces Senior Officers.
